Welcome, and thank you for taking care of the garden!  If you are new to helping out, please join a workparty (see google calendar) or contact an existing volunteer or coordinator (e.g. Melissa.Walter@ufv.ca, Alan.Reid@ufv.ca) for guidance and so we can thank you.  One piece of general guidance is that we have decided to keep the walkways clear, so any plant growing in the gravel walkways can be considered a weed and removed.  Kindly try to replace the gravel and avoid exposing a lot of dirt, so as to minimize new weeds.  Mint growing in the central planter can also be trimmed back if it is blocking the walkways.  Take some mint for tea! 

Please put weeds on a tarp or in a bucket to try to keep the walkways clean, and when you leave, please place weeds on the north (non-walkway) side of the trellis, on the concrete between the trellis and the building.  When you leave, the pile between the trellis and the building does not need to be on a tarp but please try to leave it tidy.  Thank you very much!
